The first thing which you must know is iOS does not provide facility of blocking the callers on your iPhone just as Android do but there are many other ways to block callers. Android supports third party apps but iOS does not allow third party apps to access the call making capabilities of the phone. #2 Now all you need is an app to perform its job. There are several apps such as 'Call Bliss' and 'Call Blocker'. You won't find this apps on the Apple App Store - for downloading this apps you need to use the independent cydia app store. The call blocking which we are going to use is iBlacklist. It costs about $12.99 ( about £8.50 ) and offers facilities such as block calls and messages from specific numbers as well as all unknown numbers. Open up cydia than download iBlacklist and restart your iPhone.
#3 iBlacklist should appear as one of your apps now open that app and tap on ' Blacklists ' here you will find all your blocked contacts than if you want to add any one to blacklists than tap on ' Add New Blacklist ' than add a number and you can also add from the recent call list , once you add a member to the blacklist set the 'Call' icon to 'On'.
#4 Now you have blocked the contact which is harrasing you and now you have to select what actions you have to take when that specific caller calls you. ' Open action to be Performed ' and choose the option like ' Blocking before your phone acknowledges the call ' , ' sending back the engaged call ' , ' sending the caller directly to voice mail ' or ' Automatically hanging up the call '. Finally hit the blue button to save your selections and that number is blocked.
- If you don't want to jail break your iPhone than here I have silent ringtone for iPhone which you can set for that specific caller who is harrasing you so when that particular caller calls you there will be silent ringtone played and you will not be disturbed. iPhone doesn't have inbuilt silent ringtone so you need to download silent ringtone by clicking here , Now sync your iPhone with your laptop by iTunes and set this as a ringtone ( How to set ringtone on iPhone ? See Steps Here. ) for that caller.
